Summary:

The PR Senior Account Executive is a key member of the public relations team. The primary role is to assist with strategic direction and ensure excellent communication and organization of all tactical details for assigned accounts, with both internal teams and the client.

Education/Experience:    

3-5 years of communications, including time spent in direct account management. Journalism and/or agency background is a plus.

Strong collaboration, communication and "people" skills; excellent time management skills and ability to multi-tasking in an ever-changing environment; impeccable attention to detail; strong analytical and creative mind; all-in attitude and unparalleled energy; thirst for knowledge. Position Responsibilities:    

  • Develops a deep understanding of clients' business objectives, industry challenges, and competitive landscape to inform strategic recommendations and campaign initiatives.

  • Demonstrates a strong ability to multitask, juggling priorities and managing time effectively.

  • Leads the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies and campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, traditional advertising, and experiential marketing.

  • Collaborates with internal teams, including creative, digital, and account management, to ensure the successful delivery of client projects on time and within budget.

  • Provides strategic guidance on identifying and engaging with media and influencers.

  • Develops tactics to engage audiences across social media platforms, and manage social media content development and execution on behalf of client.

  • Leverages existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts locally, regionally, nationally and within business and industry media.

  • Builds and maintains media lists for client across multiple markets.

  • Coordinates client events such as check presentations and interview requests.

  • Coordinates social media influencer partnerships on behalf of the client.

  • Develops media materials, including: key messages, news releases, media alerts, talking points, Q&A and more, and collaborate with client to revise and finalize.

  • Prepares and delivers client presentations, proposals, and reports that effectively communicate campaign performance, insights, and recommendations.

  • Conducts and/or oversees research activities and contributes to insights.

  • Contributes to new business development efforts, including participating in pitch meetings, developing proposals, and cultivating new client relationships.

  • Handles projects with autonomy and takes more ownership of accounts.

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships.

  • Employs strong communication skills to help manage client expectations.

  • Produces high volume of work without sacrificing quality; ensures work is error-free.

  • Responds to requests in a timely manner.

PR Account Executive

Summary:

The Account Executive is a key member of the account service team. The primary role is to ensure excellent communication and organization of all tactical details for assigned accounts, with both internal teams and the client. We are seeking a PR & Social Media Account Executive to join our team. The qualified candidate will bring outstanding foundational public relations experience with a solid working knowledge of applying social media content and influence in the real world. This candidate will also help produce a series of local community events, executing on social media and local media engagement as well as event management.

In this role, you will develop media lists, pitch media, write compelling content, work with content creators and influencers, plan events, analyze social media and more. We are looking for a positive, energetic professional to work on our growing team.

  • Conduct and/or oversee research activities and contribute to insights.

  • Manage client's billing (worksheets, Service Reports, budget tracker and projections).
